A very short drive or half an hour walk across the fields brings you to the pictureseque village of Woodchurch.
It has a beautiful village green, Smock Kentish Windmill and Grade One 13th century Church.
You will find a local Butchers, Post Office, Village Store and Newsagents, Model Shop and Museum. There are also two Public Houses to suit all tastes - The Bonny Cravat and The Six Bells.
Like many Kentish Villages, Woodchurch has it's own Morris Dancers - The Woodchurch Morris Men.
The 'Jewel of the Weald' small market town of Tenterden is just a 10 minute drive from Oastwood Stud.
You will find a wonderful selection of independent and national chain shops, restaurants and bars all situated along the wide tree lined main street.
The Kent & Sussex Railway is also situated in the town where you can take the steam train to Bodiam where you can visit the fairytale National Trust Castle.
